“Institute for Public Development“ (IOR)

Following the trends of the dynamic age in which we live, surrounded by social networks and fast contacts, the association “Institute for Public Development“ (IOR) invests in its project plan, financed by the Erasmus+ program, with contract number -2022-2- BG01-KA210-ADU-000093896, the cause - Development of a bilingual online course for self-education and professional development support, intended for people with disabilities and their relatives who make art products at home and sell them in an online environment.

Such an initiative would be useful both for disadvantaged people who want to bring their creative successes and products to a new, mobile environment, and would give their products a financial springboard and a modern commercial face.

The project is in cooperation with the partners from Greece - “Development for Culture, Tourism, Environment of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace“ - DE.CU.TE, and the set goals are related to achieving results according to the following priorities:

  • Inclusion and diversity in adult education and learning
  • Ensuring equal opportunities and access to education for a marginalized community of people in Bulgaria who remain outside the reach of the education system and whose needs are rarely addressed. In this way, we include artists - people with disabilities and their relatives who do not work because they take constant care of them to equal opportunities for livelihood and personal development.
